Overview
Chibi versions of Capcom fighting game characters go head-to-head—with puzzles! Instead of shapes like Tetris, this game uses colored gems, similar to SEGA's Columns. Instead of matching 3 or 4 to destroy a row, colors are wiped out with a special color swirl that will destroy any connected matching colors. The goal is to create at least 4 of the same color in a square to create a larger gem that can then be added to in multiples of two.
Each colored gem you destroy will drop a numbered color clock on your opponent's side that cannot be removed until the counter is gone and each character has their own pattern of colors they drop to slow down their opponent. Destroying larger gems drops many more colored blocks and can lead to high scores, but beware... wait too long to break your gems and it can be very easy for your opponent to fill up your side.
The goal is to get the highest score of the event by beating the house high score or your other opponents.
Two players can play the game, and you can totally knock out your opponent if you want to keep them from winning.
The winner of that match will continue to play in single-player mode, but can be challenged again at any time.
Arcade rules apply. If someone is waiting to play, they have to get a turn before calling a rematch.
Since this is in the universal Capcom cabinet, many of the buttons are not used for this game.
