Astro Climber – SEGA Master System
Astro Climber feels like a cross between Metroid and Bionic Commando, but with a singular focus on scoring. There is nothing to unlock or collect; no enhancements to your character make the game easier as you go. This is simply a beat the stage type game before the timer (measured by your oxygen level) runs out.
As you progress, each level gets harder, with more obstacles thrown at you. Beating a level presents you with a score based on how fast you make it through. One hit deaths make you focus on staying alive, but attempt to get through levels faster as you race against the timer. It is a perfect blend of twitch gaming and strategy that harkens back to classic games of the 1980s.

Game Tournament Rules
- Play on the default difficulty setting.
- Play as long as you can, until you run out of lives.
- Your final score at the end of the game is your score for that attempt.
- Beat the current high score to win that game… for now. Anyone else can try to beat your score in the tournament.
- Return at any time to try again.
